Founded in
2002, Cheyenne International is a tobacco product manufacturer located in North
Carolina, the heart of America's tobacco country.
From its
inception, they set out to change the rules of the tobacco industry by adopting
production and organizational strategies that addressed several issues they
believed needed attention. These include:
- Providing tobacco consumers
with a diversified portfolio of high-quality brands at an affordable
price.
- Serving as a voice to represent
the interests of small producers.
- Creating jobs in an
economically depressed region of rural North Carolina.
- Developing a distribution
system capable of meeting the needs of wholesalers and retailers.
Initially
focused on the U.S. market, Cheyenne International has expanded its presence
beyond the United States, exporting its products to several international
markets. Some of the most notable include Canada, Australia, and various
countries in Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
Cheyenne
International produces and markets several brands and offers a wide range of
tobacco products, including pipe tobacco, filtered cigars, cigarillos,
cigarettes, roll-your-own tobacco, vapor products, and snus.
Among the
most well-known are Cheyenne, BodyShot, and Derringer cigars and cigarillos.
Cheyenne
Cigars are small
and flavorful machine-made cigars with a homogenized wrapper and short filler
tobacco inside. These filtered cigars are highly sought after and come in
various flavors, with the most popular being menthol, vanilla, mint, and
numerous fruit flavors.
BodyShot
Cigars are short
and narrow cigars that, like other Cheyenne brands, offer a variety of flavors
reminiscent of well-known cocktails made with liquors. These include:
- Sangria: a blend of red fruits
with sweet, spicy, and fruity flavors.
- Rum & Cola: a classic
option with the taste of the famous Cuba Libre, also known as Rum and
Coke.
- Mojito: a combination of white
rum, sugar, lime, and mint flavors of the traditional Cuban cocktail.
- Trance: a mild flavor similar
to rum and cola, but not as intense.
- Whisky: the true taste of the
timeless alcoholic beverage.
Derringer
Cigars are also
small and filtered and are available in seven delicious flavors: full flavor,
classic natural tobacco, menthol, vanilla, cherry, peach, and grape.
All these
cigars are conveniently packaged in packs of 20, similar to a pack of
cigarettes, making them practical and easy to carry.
Additionally,
Cheyenne International produces the cigarette brands Aura, Cheyenne, and
Decade, the very popular Cheyenne pipe tobaccos, and the smokeless options
Derringer, Klondike, Nordic, and Ice.
